KKR never owned First Brands or Tricolor, executive says
Nov 7, 2025 7:53 AM

NEW YORK, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Investment firm KKR

has no exposure to bankrupt auto parts supplier First Brands or

car dealership Tricolor, executives said on Friday.

The company received a lot of questions about those

companies as news of their failures emerged, the executives said

on a conference call with analysts.

"We don't own them, just to be clear, nor have we ever owned

those names," one of the executives said on a call presented by

co-Chief Executive Scott Nuttall and Chief Financial Officer Rob

Lewin.

"A couple of those had reached out to our team, one of those

repeatedly, and they were turned down," one of the executives

said.
