KKR Raises $4.6 Billion for New Mid-Cap Fund

07:31 AM EDT, 09/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) said Monday it raised $4.6 billion for its new Ascendant Fund focused on mid-cap North American companies.

The fund was oversubscribed and closed at its hard cap, the company said. It received backing from investors that include public pensions, family offices, and insurance companies, KKR added.

Pete Stavros and Nate Taylor, co-heads of KKR global private equity, said the fund is "well-positioned to address the robust and attractive opportunities in the North American middle market."
