KKR, Singtel to Invest $1.29 Billion in ST Telemedia Global Data Centers

08:07 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) and Singtel said Tuesday that they will invest 1.75 billion Singaporean dollars ($1.29 billion) in ST Telemedia Global Data Centers through a consortium.

The investment will be made in redeemable preference shares with detachable warrants, and once the warrants are exercised, the consortium will invest an additional SG$1.24 billion, the companies said.

KKR's investment will come from its Asia Pacific Infrastructure Investors II Fund as part of a series of digital infrastructure investments in Southeast Asia, the companies added.
