02:34 PM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Private credit funds and accounts managed by KKR (KKR) agreed to acquire NewDay's portfolio of consumer credit receivables from Cinven and CVC Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum.

The transaction aims to separate UK-based consumer finance company NewDay's credit balance sheet from its origination and servicing business, Cinven said Friday in a statement. KKR will regularly buy new loans from NewDay over the next several years.

Cinven and CVC will remain invested in the NewDay Operating Group, with KKR joining as an investor as part of the transaction, the companies said.

The deal is expected to close by the end of September.
