KKR to Buy 11.6 Million Shares of BrightSpring From Walgreens

04:32 PM EDT, 09/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BrightSpring Health Services ( BTSG ) said Friday that 11.6 million of its shares will be bought by current investor KKR (KKR) from Walgreens Boots Alliance ( WBA ) .

The deal was negotiated directly between KKR and Walgreens, and KKR is making the investment via its private equity funds, BrightSpring said.

The deal is expected to close around Monday.
