KKR to Launch Tender Offer for Topcon

07:08 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) said Monday that it will launch its tender offer for common shares of Topcon on Tuesday for 3,300 Japanese yen ($22.25) per share.

The company said it is also offering 193,400 yen for each Topcon seventh series share acquisition right, with the offers to be made through TK, a company owned by KKR-managed investment funds.

Topcon Chief Executive Officer Takashi Eto has agreed to tender his shares, along with funds managed by ValueAct Capital that serve as a major Topcon shareholder, said KKR.
