KKR Unit Global Atlantic Vehicle to Get $2 Billion Investment From Japan Post Insurance

04:33 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A new vehicle sponsored by KKR's (KKR) Global Atlantic unit will receive a $2 billion investment from Japan Post Insurance, the companies said Wednesday.

Japan Post's commitment is more than 50% of the vehicle, which is expected to have access to Global Atlantic's insurance, reinsurance and strategic activity.

The companies said the vehicle is expected to begin operations in H1 2026.
