Knife River Says Received $112 Million Materials and Paving Project in Texas

06:51 AM EST, 12/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Knife River (KNF) said Friday it has received a $112 million materials and paving project in Texas.

The company said it will operate as an asphalt and paving subcontractor to Fluor (FLR) on the Texas Department of Transportation's State Highway 6 improvement project in the Bryan/College Station area.

Under the contract, Knife River will deliver 928,000 tons of hot-mix asphalt for the widened roadway, upgraded interchanges, reconfigured auxiliary lanes, and new shared paths for bicycles and pedestrians.

The company also said it will provide sand, mechanically stabilized earth backfill and base course to Fluor.
