10:27 AM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Knightscope ( KSCP ) said Thursday it has signed a new contract with the New York City Fire Department for the company's Knightscope Emergency Management System software to monitor the department's 518 call boxes across four boroughs of the city.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.

The NYFD did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Knightscope's ( KSCP ) shares were down 3.3% in recent trading.
