Knight-Swift Transportation Q2 Adjusted Earnings Fall, Revenue Rises; Guidance Issued -- Shares Down

04:23 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings ( KNX ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.24 per share, down from $0.49 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.27.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.85 billion, up from $1.55 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.83 billion.

Knight-Swift reaffirmed its Q3 adjusted EPS guidance of $0.31 to $0.35. Analysts expect $0.34.

For Q4, the company said it expects adjusted EPS of $0.32 to $0.36. Analysts are looking for $0.45.

Shares were down nearly 4% in after-hours activity.
