Knight-Swift Transportation's Executive Chairman Kevin Knight Retires

04:58 PM EDT, 06/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Knight-Swift Transportation ( KNX ) said late Thursday that Kevin Knight, one of the company's founders and executive chairman of the board, is retiring.

The board has appointed lead independent director David Vander Ploeg as chairman, effective Wednesday, the company said.

Knight will continue as a consultant for two years following his retirement as executive chairman, the company added.
