11:06 AM EDT, 06/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kontoor Brands ( KTB ) said Monday it closed its acquisition of global outdoor and workwear brand Helly Hansen from Canadian Tire.

The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to Kontoor's revenue, adjusted earnings and cash flow in fiscal 2025, the company said.

According to an earlier statement from Kontoor, the purchase price is around $900 million, with the company funding the transaction through a combination of excess cash on hand and new debt financing.
