08:28 AM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kopin ( KOPN ) said Monday it has received a $15.4 million Pentagon contract to develop ultra-bright, full-color MicroLED displays for ground soldier augmented reality applications.

The contract came from the Office of the Secretary of Defense through the US Army Contracting Command under the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment program, the company said.

The contract is to advance full-color daytime and nighttime readable augmented reality display technologies in diverse lighting conditions, the company said.

Shares of the company were up 2.8% in recent premarket activity.
