09:47 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kopin ( KOPN ) said Thursday that it has completed the final milestone in the production qualification of its organic light emitting diode on silicon, or OLEDoS, display for RTX's (RTX) Collins Aerospace's F-35 Lightning II Helmet Mounted Display System.

Kopin ( KOPN ) said the display technology of the F-35 helmets will be shifting to Kopin's ( KOPN ) OLEDoS in the coming years.

Collins will finance Kopin's ( KOPN ) purchase of manufacturing test equipment for mass production of OLEDoS, Kopin ( KOPN ) said.
