08:51 AM EDT, 03/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kopin ( KOPN ) said Monday that it had received a $14 million order from an unidentified defense contractor for custom thermal imaging assemblies, as well as a $5.3 million authorization to acquire materials for a future order.

The assemblies are part of a detachable weapons system that allows for battlefield target acquisition in hostile conditions, the company said.
