09:29 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kopin ( KOPN ) said Monday it received its first production purchase order for the 4 Megapixel 2K-R11 FLCoS Spatial Light Modulator system to use in 3D automated optical inspection machines.

The 2K-R11 offers four times the resolution of typical 1K systems, enabling precise measurement of smaller components and improved inspection speed, Kopin ( KOPN ) said.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Kopin ( KOPN ) shares were up 3.7% in recent premarket activity.
