Korean Air Says Boeing Order for 103 Aircraft Valued at $36.2 Billion

05:42 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Korean Air said Thursday it plans to purchase 103 aircraft from Boeing ( BA ) between 2026 and 2039, with the deal valued at about $36.2 billion, based on 2025 list prices.

The order includes 20 Boeing 777-9, 25 Boeing 787-10, 50 Boeing 737-10, and eight Boeing 777-8 freighter aircraft, according to a regulatory filing by the South Korean flag carrier.

The agreement was first announced in August 2025 as part of Korean Air's long-term fleet modernization and expansion strategy.
