The continuation is expected to go into effect by October 16, subject to shareholder and regulatory approval. The company anticipates changing its name from "Koryx Copper Inc." to "Koryx Copper S.A."; however, shares are set to remain trading on the TSX Venture Exchange and Namibian Securities Exchange under their existing tickers. Additionally, the company will remain a Canadian reporting issuer and subject to Namibian securities laws.

Koryx highlighted that the continuation decision will provide expanded strategic flexibility and access to international markets.

The company's hares were last seen up $0.15, or 14%, to $1.20 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
