05:38 PM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kosmos Energy ( KOS ) said late Tuesday it priced a $500 million offering of 8.75% senior notes due 2031.

The company expects the offering to close Sept. 24 and plans to use the net proceeds to help fund its the tender offers for a portion of its 7.125% senior notes due 2026, 7.750% senior notes due 2027 and 7.500% senior notes due 2028.

Kosmos shares were up about 1.6% in after-hours activity.
