KP Tissue Swings to Profit in Q4; Declares Dividend; Kruger Products' Q4 Profit, Revenue Climbs

08:42 AM EST, 03/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KP Tissue Inc. ( KPTSF ) reported Thursday the fourth quarter and full-year 2023 financial and operational results of KP Tissue ( KPTSF ) and Kruger Products Inc.

KP Tissue Inc. ( KPTSF ) reported Q4 net income of $2 million, or $0.20 per basic share, as compared with a loss of $990,000, or $0.10 per basic share, a year earlier.

Also, KP Tissue's ( KPTSF ) board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share. The dividend will be paid on April 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 1.

For the first quarter, Kruger Products expects margins to remain consistent and adjusted EBITDA to be in a similar range to Q4.

Kruger Products reported fourth-quarter net income of $16.5 million, up from $16 million a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2023, was $482.3 million, up from $458.1 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA for Q4 was $61.2 million, up from $44.4 million a year earlier.
