01:10 PM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Monday it received a hypersonic system program award with a total potential value of about $100 million.

The company said it received about $15 million in initial funding, with significant additional funding expected in the second half of its fiscal-year 2025. Kratos will provide engineering, systems and hardware under the program.

Shares of Kratos were up over 4% in recent trading.
