10:19 AM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Thursday it has opened a 22,500-square-foot propulsion manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan, to meet rising demand for its Spartan series of military-grade turbojet engines.

The new plant includes office, manufacturing, assembly, and testing areas, and supports the simultaneous production of all four Spartan engine models, with annual output capacity exceeding 50,000 units, the company said.

The company added that the site is optimized for parallel production and testing, including shared spaces for inspection and multi-station testing, while isolating key inventory areas.
