08:34 AM EST, 03/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Thursday that Naval Air Systems Command has exercised a contract option to purchase an additional 70 BQM-177A Subsonic Aerial Target aircraft for around $59.3 million.

Combined with the base award, the overall value of full rate production lots 4 through 6 totals $177.7 million, the company said.

The total contract value if the remaining option for lot 7 is exercised at the maximum production quantity will be $227.6 million, Kratos said.
