11:04 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Monday that its Kratos Turbine Technologies division has finished a ground test campaign for a cost-optimized, limited-free turbofan engine.

The Air Force Research Laboratory managed the engine tests under the Attritable Cost Optimized Limited Life Engine Technologies program, achieving all goals, including predicted thrust and fuel efficiency, the company said.

Shares of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions were down 2% in recent Monday trading.
