12:11 PM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Wednesday it has been awarded a $25 million task order by the US Space Force Space Systems Command to bolster ground system capabilities for Evolved Strategic Satellite Communications.

The 34-month task order, which was effective March 14, through Nov. 30, 2027, falls under the previously awarded Command and Control System-Consolidated Sustainment and Resiliency indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. Kratos secured the C-SAR IDIQ, which has a maximum value of $579 million, on Nov. 15, 2023.

Kratos will establish infrastructure, link ground systems, develop implementation roadmaps, and facilitate prototyping for new enterprise architecture, the company said.
