09:25 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense and Security Solutions ( KTOS ) has partnered with Airbus unit Airbus Defence and Space to supply combat drones to the German Air

Force by 2029, Airbus said Wednesday.

Under the deal, Airbus will equip its mission system with Kratos Defense's XQ-58A Valkyrie unmanned collaborative combat aircraft.

The drone can reach altitudes of 45,000 feet over distances of up to 3,000 miles and can be operated autonomously or in coordination with manned fighter jets.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
