Kratos Receives $79.9 Million US Air Force Contract

08:32 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Tuesday it has received a $79.9 million contract to deliver 60 aircraft for the BQM-167A aerial target drone system, including upgrades and mission kits, to the US Air Force.

The company said that under the five-year agreement, it will provide Gas, Aero, Payload and Power enhancements for the drones, which are used for weapon systems testing and military training. The contract, with options for further purchases, could reach a total value of about $374 million, Kratos added.
