Kratos Wins Potential $50 Million Contract for Suborbital Vehicles

08:51 AM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Tuesday it was awarded a contract for the short/medium range sub-orbital vehicle II, as a partner to Corvid Technologies, by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, White Sands Detachment.

The contract covers the design, manufacture, and delivery of short- and medium-range suborbital vehicles, including the provision of ground test hardware, special test equipment, materials, engineering, and launch support services, the company said.

The contract includes options that can potentially bring the subcontract value to more than $50 million, Kratos said.
