10:41 AM EDT, 08/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Krispy Kreme (DNUT) shares were down 9% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported its fiscal Q2 swung to an adjusted loss.
The donut maker reported a fiscal Q2 adjusted loss of $0.15 per diluted share, compared with adjusted earnings of $0.05 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.03.
Net revenue for the quarter ended June 29 was $379.8 million, down from $438.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $378.7 million.
The company said it has started a turnaround plan to reduce debt and support long-term growth, by refranchising in international markets and restructuring its joint venture in the Western US.
