04:41 AM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kroger ( KR ) said late Wednesday it extended the expiration date of offers to exchange outstanding notes of Albertsons Companies ( ACI ) for up to about $7.44 billion of new notes to be issued by Kroger ( KR ) and cash.

The company extended the expiration date to Sept. 17 from Sept. 13.

The notes to be exchanged belong to Albertsons Companies ( ACI ), New Albertsons, Safeway, Albertson's, Albertsons Safeway, and American Stores, Kroger ( KR ) said.
