09:10 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kroger Company ( KR ) (KR) said Thursday it has extended the expiration for its offer to exchange any and all outstanding notes of Albertsons ( ACI ) for up to $7.44 billion of new notes it is issuing until Oct. 3.

Kroger ( KR ) also said it has extended the expiration date to adopt proposed amendments rules governing the Albertsons ( ACI ) notes until the same date.

The company said it has already received enough consent to adopt the proposed amendments but that they will become operative upon the settlement of the exchange offers.
