12:11 PM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kulicke & Soffa Industries (KLIC) said Tuesday it detected an unauthorized attempt to access its systems on May 12, but worked with inhouse security team and third party cybersecurity experts to contain the event.
The company does not believe there was any data exfiltration and that the event will not "reasonably likely to materially impact" its financial condition, results of operations, or ability to meet its fiscal Q3 business guidance, according to a regulatory filing.
"The investigation to assess the complete nature, scope and impact of the incident, including coordination with law enforcement, remains ongoing," the company said.
Kulicke said disruptions to its business operations were "limited due to robust isolation, back-up and recovery efforts."
