09:35 AM EST, 01/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KULR Technology Group ( KULR ) said Tuesday it has signed a licensing deal with an unnamed technology partner for carbon fiber cathode applications for nuclear reactor systems in Japan.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

KULR's ( KULR ) carbon fiber cathode technology is used in nuclear reactors to enhance safety, heat dissipation, and structural integrity, the company added.

Shares of the company were up about 21% in recent Tuesday early trading.
