08:55 AM EDT, 06/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kura Oncology ( KURA ) and Kyowa Kirin reported long-term data showing high remission rates and favorable survival outcomes for ziftomenib in combination with intensive chemotherapy in patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia, the companies said Thursday.

Among NPM1-mutated patients, the combination achieved a 96% composite complete remission rate and a 94% estimated overall survival rate at 12 months.. Patients with KMT2A-rearranged AML achieved a 90% composite complete remission rate and a 71% 12 month overall survival rate, according to the companies.

The treatment maintained a consistent and manageable safety profile, with no new safety signals identified during extended follow-up, the companies said.
