L3 Technologies Agrees to Pay $62 Million to Settle Allegations It Failed to Disclose Accurate Pricing to US Government
May 26, 2025 12:47 PM

02:01 PM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- L3 Technologies agreed to pay $62 million to settle claims that one of its divisions made false statements and failed to disclose accurate pricing for equipment sold to the US government, the Justice Department said Thursday.

L3 Technologies Inc., a corporation doing business in Utah, merged in 2019 with Harris Corporation to become L3Harris Technologies ( LHX ) .

According to the Justice Department, the company's Communications System West division violated the False Claims Act and the Truth In Negotiations Act by "failing to disclose accurate, current, and complete cost or pricing data for communications equipment sold to various Department of Defense agencies, including the Air Force, Army, and Navy, and other government agencies."

The violations allegedly occurred between October 2006 and February 2014, the Justice Department said.

The Justice Department added that its claims were allegations only and there had been no determination of liability.

The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
