02:51 PM EDT, 08/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- L3Harris Technologies ( LHX ) said Thursday it completed a $100 million expansion at its test facility in Palm Bay, Florida, to support the US Department of Defense's requirement for on-orbit technology linked to the Golden Dome.

The expanded 94,000-square-foot facility will manufacture satellites to locate, track, and protect against a variety of missile threats, according to a statement.
