Aug 26 (Reuters) - Diagnostics firm Labcorp ( LH ) said

it is processing approximately 500 mpox tests a month but have

the capacity to process approximately 25,000 per month.

The company is working closely with the U.S. Centers for

Disease Control and Prevention and public health agencies to

monitor the outbreak and weigh the need for increased supplies

or testing, Marcia Eisenberg, Labcorp's ( LH ) chief scientific officer

said to Reuters in an emailed statement.
