Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $7.30.

Revenue in the quarter ended March 31 was $3.79 billion, down from $3.87 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.73 billion.

For fiscal Q4, the company said it expects non-GAAP EPS of $7.50, plus or minus $0.75, and revenue of $3.8 billion, plus or minus $300 million. Analysts in a Capital IQ poll expected EPS of $7.31 and revenue of $3.78 billion.
