Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.21.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 29 was $5.17 billion, up from $3.87 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $5 billion.

The company set Q1 EPS guidance of $1.20, plus or minus $0.10, on revenue of $5.20 billion, plus or minus $300 million. Analysts expect EPS of $1 on revenue of $4.65 billion.

Shares were up 4.9% during after-hours trading.
