04:52 AM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lam Research ( LRCX ) and JSR said late Monday they signed a nonexclusive cross-licensing and collaboration deal to advance semiconductor manufacturing.

The partnership will integrate JSR and its Inpria unit's patterning resists and films with Lam Research's ( LRCX ) etch and dry resist deposition technologies. The companies will also collaborate to expand innovation in various areas to support chipmakers.

Lam Research ( LRCX ) and JSR also said they intend to explore new precursor materials and processes for advanced atomic layer deposition and etch offerings.

Lam Research ( LRCX ) and Inpria have also agreed to dismiss all claims against each other in a litigation case in the District Court of Delaware and all related inter partes review proceedings, the companies said.
