01:07 PM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lancaster Resources ( LANRF ) om Wednesday said it acquired a 100% stake in the Lac Iris Polymetallic project in the James Bay region of Quebec.
The acquisition, through directly staked mineral claims, adds 694 hectares across three packages and received approval from the Quebec mining authority.
The project lies along the Whabouchi lithium pegmatite deposit and the Nisk polymetallic nickel-copper sulfide deposit, and is positioned between the La Grande and Opatica subprovinces, which are known geologically for pegmatites and polymetallic mineralization.
"The properties significantly boost our exploration prospects in James Bay. This acquisition supports Lancaster's push for precious metal discoveries, alongside our Lake Cargelligo acquisition, as we continue to build shareholder value," said chief executive Andrew Watson.
Shares of Lancaster Resources ( LANRF ) were last seen unchanged at $0.055 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
