09:10 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LandBridge ( LB ) said Tuesday it has entered into an agreement to acquire approximately 37,500 total acres in Texas from 1918 Ranch & Royalty that provide access to high-quality pore space adjacent to its contiguous surface acreage position in Loving County.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acreage consists of about 22,000 fee surface acres, about 3,500 surface acres held pursuant to a long-term management agreement and around 12,000 leasehold surface acres, the company said. It is expected to support additional water handling infrastructure for commercial produced water volumes in the Stateline region of the Delaware Basin.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4, LandBridge ( LB ) said.
