05:44 PM EST, 03/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Landmark Bancorp ( LARK ) said late Monday it has appointed Abigail Wendel as president and chief executive officer of the company and its Landmark National Bank unit, effective March 29.

Wendel succeeds Michael Scheopner, who will serve in a non-executive role until his retirement at the end of the year, it said.

Wendel most recently served as president of UMB Bank's consumer division.
