05:57 PM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LanzaTech Global ( LNZA ) said late Thursday it named Sushmita Koyanagi as chief financial officer, starting June 2.

Koyanagi succeeds interim CFO Justin Pugh, who will remain in an advisory role with the company until June 30 to support the transition, the company said.

Koyanagi was most recently the chief accounting officer of the company, according to LanzaTech.

LanzaTech also named Amanda Guisz as interim general counsel, starting June 13. She will succeed Joseph Blasko, who is departing the company to pursue a new opportunity.

The company noted that long-serving board member Gary Rieschel will retire at the end of his current term and won't stand for re-election at the upcoming annual stockholders meeting.

The company expects the announced leadership changes and role consolidations to result in annual cost reductions of about $1 million.
