11:23 AM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LanzaTech Global ( LNZA ) said Tuesday it won a grant worth 6.4 million British pounds ($8.6 million) from the UK government's Advanced Fuels Fund.

The grant would be used to further the company's Dragon 1 and 2 projects, which are related to the production of sustainable aviation fuel in the UK.

The company also said that Project Speedbird received funding of 10 million pounds from the Advanced Fuels Fund. Project Speedbird, which is 36% owned by LanzaTech, converts any form of waste carbon into sustainable aviation fuel.

Shares of LanzaTech gained more than 5% in recent trading activity Tuesday.
