08:58 AM EDT, 08/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Latin Metals ( LMSQF ) said Friday that it expanded its Auquis copper project in Peru by staking an additional 400-hectare claim near the property.

The company said the extension is located south of the Rose copper porphyry target area, which has potential to host an extension of the Rose porphyry system.

Latin Metals ( LMSQF ) said its future exploration plans at Auquis include additional sampling at the Rose zone and additional work at the Blanco skarn target.

The company also said that it has entered into a loan agreement with a trust controlled by a company for up to US$100,000.

Latin Metals ( LMSQF ) plans to use the funds for properties option payment requirements and to meet its short-term corporate and working capital needs.
