Latin Metals to Acquire Majority Stake in Huachi Project in Argentina

01:08 PM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Latin Metals ( LMSQF ) on Monday said it signed an option agreement to acquire up to a 100% interest in the Huachi property from Golden Arrow Minerals (GRG.V), a 3,500-hectare project in San Juan province, Argentina, that is contiguous with Latin Metals' ( LMSQF ) Esperanza project.

The company may acquire an initial 75% interest in Huachi by completing US$1 million in exploration expenditures and US$1 million in cash payments to Golden Arrow over a four-year period. The company may acquire the remaining 25% interest for US$2 million in cash, to be paid to Golden Arrow within 90 days of the 75% interest being achieved.

Alternatively, the two companies may form a joint venture with Latin Metals ( LMSQF ) holding 75% and Golden Arrow 25%. Each party will fund its pro-rata share of future expenditures, a statement added.

Latin Metals ( LMSQF ) was last seen up $0.01 to $0.21 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
