04:46 PM EDT, 04/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Laurentian Bank of Canada ( LRCDF ) Tuesday said Kelsey Gunderson, executive vice president and head, capital markets, is leaving the bank to focus on personal interests.
In the interim, Brian Doyle, currently chief financial officer of capital markets, will assume the role of acting head, capital markets and acting president and chief executive of Laurentian Bank Securities, and will be responsible for its day-to-day operations.
"I would like to sincerely thank Kelsey for his many contributions to the bank over the last five years, including navigating our Capital Markets business through multiple periods of market volatility," chief executive Eric Provost said in a statement.
Doyle will continue to report to Yvan Deschamps, the bank's chief financial officer.
Gunderson joined Laurentian Bank in his current role in 2019, with his last day being April 12, 2024.
According to a company statement, the bank will unveil its revamped strategic plan at an investor event later this spring and will share more information about capital markets and all its businesses at that time.
The bank's shares closed down C$0.19 to C$27.29 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
