10:04 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lavras Gold ( LGCFF ) was up more than 1% at last look on Wednesday after saying gold mineralization was intersected in all seven drill holes at the Butia Gold Deposit, at the western edge of the LDS Project in southern Brazil.
Among highlights cited in a statement, the company said drilling intersection includes 3.4 g/t gold over 50 metres, including 78.1 g/t gold over 1 metre.
Several of the new holes returned long intervals of continuous gold mineralization characterized by higher-grade subintervals with "striking similarities" to previously disclosed results, a statement noted. It also noted Lavras Gold ( LGCFF ) recently renewed a 25,000-metre drilling contract to continue the ongoing drilling program.
The company, which is currently focused on the Butia Gold Deposit and the adjacent Fazenda do Posto gold target, has sent three 150-kilogram composite samples from Fazenda do Posto to the lab for further investigation, following up on a comprehensive metallurgical test program for Butia mineralization.
Lavras Gold ( LGCFF ) was last seen up $0.03, to $2.28, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
