Lawsuit Against Trump Media Board Member Alleges Stealing of Information
Apr 11, 2024 5:39 AM

08:05 AM EDT, 04/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- A federal lawsuit filed last month alleges that a board member of Trump Media & Technology Group ( DJT ) hacked files and stole information.

The suit, filed by Benessere Investment Group and ARC Global Investments, alleges that board member Eric Swider was behind "an audacious scheme to seize control of and enlarge their holdings in a publicly traded company poised to merge" with former President Donald Trump's majority-owned media company.

The suit seeks unspecified damages and an order to get Swider to stop hacking files and using stolen information.

The lawsuit was first reported Wednesday by Wired.
